Version 6.1 of Intelliquip's Intelligent Front-End^SM Released

Bethlehem, PA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Intelliquip, LLC today released Version 6.1 of its Intelligent Front-End^SM software for manufacturers of pumps, compressors, blowers, valves, mixers, filters, agitators, gears, motors, engines, turbines, expanders, couplings and seals. Version 6.1, Intelliquip’s 12^th upgrade in the last 8 years, is a release containing major enhancements across all of Intelliquip’s web-enabled front-end sales applications for automated selection, configuration, pricing, data sheet generation, drawing generation, quotation generation, quotation management, and order entry.

A brief overview of select enhancements:

Intelliquip Quote Manager^TM: This module contains new Quote Filtering capabilities allowing substantial flexibility towards filtering the quote list based on dozens of user specified attributes. Quotation document assembly is now fully sortable by the user by using click-and-drag sorting preferences. In addition, a new workload report has been added along with other enhancements.

Intelliquip Selector^TM: A new Head Loss Module has been added to the Selector allowing users to determine suction and discharge line losses due to pipe friction and head losses through valves, elbows, and other pipefittings. Up to four different pipe systems can be modeled with an unlimited number of suction and discharge fittings in each model. In addition, Viscosity Corrections using the ANSI/HI 9.6.7-2004 standard is now available as well as the previously supported method found in ANSI/HI 1.1-1.5-1994. Finally, extensive new functionality in support of mixed stage pump performance, interstage takeoff calculations at multiple speeds, and improved prediction of operating conditions based on pump and system curve interaction are now available.

Intelliquip Configurator^TM: A new knowledgebase development feature has been added to extend the functionality of the Configurator. These include new "add option" features, "option override" features, and additional data fields controlled in the Quote Manager and Selector that may now be used in Configurator knowledgebases. The runtime operating performance of the Configurator has also been improved.

Other Enhancements: Other enhancements include a comprehensive on-line, searchable Help module, new units of measure, and improved user account security features.
