Intelliquip's Intelligent Front-Endsm Version 4.0 Announced
Includes New Modules for Positive Displacement Pump Selection and Sales Management Activity Reporting
DUBLIN, OH USA - February 14, 2005 - Intelliquip, LLC today announced Version 4.0 of its Intelligent Front-Endsm (IFE) web-enabled sales automation software for the fluid handling industry. Version 4.0 is the 9th major upgrade to Intelliquip's software over the past 4 ½ years. A major component of this release is a positive displacement (PD) pump selector module which is suitable for most positive displacement pumps including gear, sliding vane, progressive cavity, screw, lobe, peristaltic, metering, diaphragm, piston, and plunger pumps. A unique feature of Intelliquip's Selector technology is its ability to rapidly display both centrifugal and PD pump alternatives for a given application. The PD selector is an add-on module which operates within Intelliquip's proven internet enabled centrifugal pump selector. As such, many powerful features such as pressure checking, shaft power limitations, multi-language, thumbnail curves, and multiple gearbox alternatives are included. This module will be readily extended in the near future, to address the selection of rotating equipment involving compressible fluids, such as blowers and compressors.
In addition, Intelliquip's Quote Manager has been enhanced to include a number of "out of the box" sales management reports and views. These reports provide crucial sales activity information in "real time", which can be viewed instantly via the web interface or shared as reports (in PDF format) to support typical sales management reporting methods. Standard reports are pre-bundled including quote status, hit rate, and sales forecasting reports. Additional reports are readily added using customizable report templates. In addition, an enhanced download capability has been included for the purposes of customized reporting and analysis offline.
