Intelliquip Integrates Advanced Vertical Turbine Pump Selection and Quote Management Capabilities In Latest Software Release

DUBLIN, OH USA - January 14, 2004 -- Intelliquip, LLC today raised the bar in the development of Internet enabled sales automation software for the world's pump industry with the release of Version 3.3 of the Intelliquip Solutions™ software suite. Version 3.3 allows pump companies to reduce their proposal generation times, offer sophisticated selection and configuration work to their distribution network, and do a better job in managing their inquiries and proposals.

Version 3.3, the sixth major release from Intelliquip over the last 3 years, contains upgrades and functionality enhancements across all modules. Some of the most significant changes are outlined below.

Intelliquip Quote Manager^TM:

Includes improved administrative, collaborative and ad-hoc documentation attachment features.

Provides users a portal for managing customer lists, quotes and quote documents, allowing ease of collaboration between the manufacturer, distributor, engineers and users.

Generates a comprehensive, multi-item paginated document package in PDF format. It is integrated with Intelliquip's Selector and Configurator modules and can be integrated with client's ERP and CRM systems.

Intelliquip Selector^TM:

Has enhanced vertical turbine pump selection features (intelligent shaft, column and pump length sizing; bowl, pump and combined performance curves, mixed hydraulics and scores of other capabilities).
Includes multi-speed and multi-duty point curves, intelligent first stage selection, support for automatic calculation of liquid properties, and manual motor rating override capability.
Designed to interpret a buyer's needs and select an optimum pump producing results equal to a manufacturer's most experienced application engineer.

Intelliquip Configurator^TM:

Improved with enhanced rules capabilities involving multiple-languages and rules based discounting and commission calculations.
Added secure editing features for pricing and datasheets price sheets, datasheets, general arrangement drawings, and cover letters.
An integrated call-back feature is now included allowing the Configurator to make calls back to the Selector when an option affecting performance is changed.
Elegantly, efficiently, and accurately handles the most complex pump configuration challenges.

Upgraded with improved administration controls, price discount management, search, graphical interface, drag and drop shopping cart, and error free order placement features that can be seamlessly linked to a manufacturer's ERP business system.
