Bethlehem, PA USA – March 31st, 2009 – Intelliquip, LLC today released Version 7.0 of its web-enabled Intelligent Front-End^SM (IFE) software for streamlining the sales processes of fluid handling equipment manufacturers.  This is the 13th release since the company was founded in 2000 and contains numerous enhancements and new functionality across all software modules.  Intelliquip’s Selector, Configurator, and Quote Manager modules can be flexibly deployed into a wide variety of implementation scenario’s to address the needs of management, salesmen, applications engineers, distributors, representatives, agents, engineering firms, and end users.

Version 7.0 brings significant value to Intelliquip’s existing clients, while expanding the core applications to better support the needs of a broader range of fluid handling and auxiliary equipment including pumps, valves, compressors, actuators, heat exchangers, mixers, agitators, blowers, seals, couplings, gears, drivers, and parts.  Intelliquip’s clients now have access to API 610 data sheets, Asian and Eastern European languages, initial support for emerging Hydraulic Institute Electronic Data Exchange (EDE) Standard for pumps and pump packages, and enhancements that allow broader and easier integration with both middleware and ERP systems.  Further, Intelliquip’s industry leading Pump Selector has a completely revamped performance curve graphical display and numerous new features for complex selections requiring multiple operating conditions or sophisticated performance adjustments.

A brief overview of select enhancements:

Intelliquip Quote Manager^TM : A redesigned commission worksheet that can be driven by complex rules and calculations to accurately determine sales commissions for each quotation. There is more data that may be included in the cover letter and the ability to easily manipulate existing quotes into new “split quotes”.

Intelliquip Selector^TM : The graphical presentation of the performance curves are substantially improved using vector graphic technology. The Selector can now support highly specialized performance adjustments and loss calculations using manufacturer’s own calculation procedures.  Also, a new multiple conditions of service page is available for more demanding customer specifications.
 
Intelliquip Configurator^TM : An API 610 10th edition datasheet is now available with content generated automatically from the Configurator knowledgebase.  Also, new eCatalog solutions have been added for general or privileged access on our clients’ websites allowing spare parts selection or product navigation.

Intelliquip Knowledge Builders^TM : Within the Selector Knowledge Builder, new languages can now be added directly by our clients.

Other Enhancements : Full support of double byte languages such as Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.  Units of measures have been expanded to include support for compressible flow.
